JESOLO and CAORLE: historical pearls on the Adriatic.

Jesolo

Jesolo, near Venice, is today a splendid tourism area for families with children, young people, couples and senior citizens, but its history is an ancient one, dating back to the time of the Romans, before the birth of the Venetian Republic.
Unfortunately, during the First World War, Jesolo paid a high price, with the destruction of immense works of art like the Romanesque Cathedral, whose ruins are the only remaining testimony of its ancient splendour.

Today Jesolo offers a myriad of opportunities for you and your whole family to enjoy yourself, relax, play sports or visit the inland area of the Veneto.
There are also international events, theme parks, concerts, shows and traditional festivals.

JESOLO HOLIDAY

Thanks to its marvellous beaches, the Adriatic Sea and its friendly inhabitants, Lido di Jesolo, has been an important International tourist destination since the years following the war.

Jesolo is:

- an ideal place for familieswho want a safe, peaceful seaside holiday with their children;
- synonymous with entertainment and culture : there is a packed calendar of shows and events all year for those who choose to holiday in Jesolo.

In short, there is something for everyone! Sport, cinema, culture, art, music, dancing and plenty of other surprises, to make your seaside holiday in Jesolo unforgettable. A HOLIDAY IN JESOLO means international tourism, nature and culture for all tastes!

Caorle by Night

CAORLE: the charm of a fishing village and the comfort of a modern tourist destination.

Caorle's main attraction is undoubtedly its lovely, well-equipped sandy beach that stretches for fifteen kilometres along the Adriatic Coast.

But Caorle is not just a beach, sea and sun.
Caorle is a port, fishing village, has its own valleys and is also famous for sport. The town has a history that stretches back over 2000 years, from the Roman Empire to the tourist boom of the '60s -'70s,
through the age of the Serenissima Venetian Republic, whose splendour is still visible today in the lovely historic centre, under the famous cylindrical belltower and the Romanesque cathedral dating back to 1038.

The fishing port is set in the old historic centre, which has been transformed into a pedestrian area, where guests can find shops and restaurants.

The pale, pastel-painted houses, narrow lanes and squares remind one just how close Venice is, in terms of distance and magical atmosphere.

The Church of Madonna dell'Angelo, which rises on the rocks directly overlooking the sea, recalls the ancient sailing traditions of this town, whose inhabitants have lived by fishing for centuries.

Duna Verde, the area in which the VILLAGGIO SAN FRANCESCO campsite is situated, is just a few kilometres from Caorle's historic centre. It is made up of residential villages immersed in greenery and adorned with colourful flowers, hence its name the GARDEN TOWN.
It is an oasis of tranquillity for those looking for a restful, relaxing holiday.
The thick pine forest divides the beach of fine golden sand from the houses, which also recall the architecture of Venice.
